Wisła is one of the most beautiful villages in Poland. Located deep in the Silesian Beskids, it is a well-known tourist, leisure and sports center.

A city located at the foot of the Wisła river
The largest Polish river Wisła (Vistula) has the source in the Wisła. The Czarna and Biała Wisełka streams flow from the sources on the Barania Góra mountain, which after connecting and receiving the Malinka stream, create the Wisła River.

Mountain scenery
The center of Wisła is located at an altitude of 430 m above sea level. The valley in which the city is located is surrounded by picturesque mountains of the Silesian Beskids. The lowest located place in Wisła is the Wisła River valley on the border with Ustroń (392 m above sea level), and the highest - the peak of Barania Góra (1220 m above sea level). The mountains in Wisła amaze at any time of the year, and the Beskids are one of the safest in Europe

A unique landscape
The village is divided into several valleys, among others Malinka, Czarne, Gościejów, Partecznik, Głębce, Łabajów, Dziechcinka, Jawornik, Gahura and on the slopes of the surrounding mountains. Meadows, forests, mountain streams dominate, in each of these charming places you can find inner silence and peace.

Extremely popular
Undoubtedly, Wisła owes her popularity to ski jumping and jumper Adam Małysz, who was born here. Wisła invites you to relax at any time of the year, tourists have at their disposal numerous hiking, skiing, hiking and biking trails. Hiking is a suggestion for those who calmly want to experience free moments in the bosom of nature. Wisła has gentle tourist routes that can be used to visit the town and the surrounding area. From the Wisła, you can start the journey to Czantoria (995 m above sea level), Stożek (978 m above sea level), Trzy Kopce Wiślańskie (803 m above sea level) and to Barania Góra (1220 m above sea level).

The Beskidy Museum, the Castle of the President of the Republic of Poland, Bear Gallery, the Museum of Skiing, the Observation Tower on Barania Góra, the ski jump of Adam Małysz, Hunting Lodge, Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession are just some great places worth visiting in Wisla.
